We are delighted to announce our first duathlon event will be at one of our favourite venues, the beautiful Derwent Reservoir. The running will be on tarmac and trail paths around the waterside and the cycling will be on the open roads around the reservoir towards Edmundbyers, Blanchland and Slaley. There will be a SPRINT EVENT (aged 15+) over 5km, 20km and 2.5km and a STANDARD EVENT (aged 16+) over 10km, 40km and 5k. There is also the option to do the event as a two- or three-person relay with your friends.

When registering you will be asked for your best 10k running time which will allow us to create waves/starting groups depending on social distancing measures at the time of the event. (Fingers crossed...) The event is for all fitness levels, any type of push bike can be used but a cycling helmet must be worn.
British Triathlon Members will get £6 discount on entry. 

There will be a QUALITY EVENT T-SHIRT, FANTASTIC WOODEN MEDAL, FOOD & A BEER OR SIMILAR for all finishers. Parking at the venue is also FREE for competitors.
