Alnwick Sprint Triathlon 2016

When?

The Alnwick Sprint Triathlon 2016 will take place on Sunday 15th May 2016. The race starts at 7:40am, registration will be open from 6:10am to 7:00am

Note that this time is changed from the originally advertised 8am start to accomodate the new swim regulations introduced by Triathlon England.

The swim distance is now 400m and there will be wave starts at 7:40am, 7:56am, 8:11am, 8:24am, 8:36am, 8:47am, 8:56am and 9:03am.

Where?

The event is based at the Willowburn Leisure Centre, Willowburn Lane, Alnwick NE66 2JH. (Google Map here)

What?

The Alnwick Sprint Triathlon consists of a 400m pool swim, a 21k circular, undulating cycle and a 5k out and back run on a farm track with a hill to climb.

How much?

The entry cost is £45 for a BTF member, £48 for a non-BTF member. There will be a small supplement payable during the online entry process which reflects the cost of processing your credit or debit card.

Anything else?

Your entry includes a commemorative T-shirt and chip timing. If you want to be sent an SMS message of your finish time you can add this option to your basket for a small additional charge.
