The EMW Tri-Challenge offers you the choice of 3 events: standard distance (1.5km/40km/10km as individual or relay); sprint distance (750m/20km/5km) and EMW’s very own "Try A Tri" corporate team triathlon (750m/20k/5k). Held at the stunning Emberton Country Park, this event has become a regular feature on the sporting calendar and offers race options for all levels of ability. We will be awarding prizes for overall champions as well as age group winners in accordance to British Triathlon Standards. We are currently processing paperwork for our British Triathlon Federation race license. Our spectator friendly race HQ gives you opportunities to cheer on your friends all around transition and the finish line. Why not get involved and get your fan club setup at the finish line making some noise to cheer everyone home!
The aim of this event is to have fun, so whether this is your first triathlon or you are a keen triathlete and want to compete with a group of colleagues this is the one for you. The event is open to teams of 3 - the teams can be men only, women only or mixed. Held over the sprint distance this race will see one team member take on each leg of the race, so dig out your keenest swimmers, cyclists and runners to take home glory as the fastest team in the region! If you’d like to take part in this event but are short of team members, please let us know as we have lots of volunteers who will be happy to make up the numbers up.

STANDARD DISTANCE TRIATHLON
Distances: 1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run Entry fee: £70 (BTF members), £75 (non-BTF members), £85 (relay team of 2-3) Age limit: 17+
SPRINT DISTANCE TRIATHLON
Distances: 750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run Entry fee: £50 (BTF members), £55 (non-BTF members) Age limit: 15+
EMW Try a Tri (Create profile for your company)
Distances: 750,k swim, 20k bike, 5k run Entry fee: £100 per team (Relay team of 2-3) Age limit: 17+
£15 of the Try a Tri team entry will go towards EMW's chosen charity which is the British Heart Foundation.
