Open Water Swimming takes place from May 20th to mid September (temperature dependent) every Wednesday evening 7.00-8.00pm and Saturday morning 8:30-9:30am at Three Sisters Water Ski Centre, situated 5 minutes from Junction 25 (Wigan) off the M6.

The cost for each session is £5.80 (+ booking fee) and must be paid in advance, there will be no payments accepted at the session.

Note that we will only be opening up each week one at a time – so although you can see the dates for weeks in advance, you'll only be able to book places in the current week.

Social distancing measures we'll be adopting:

• The swims will be strictly limited to 100 people (consider that our largest attendance last year was 230).
• All swimmers will need to pay in advance online to book your slot, there is no registration or payment on the night.
• If you have not booked and paid in advance you will not be allowed to swim.
• Briefing will be online, not on the night.
• No spectators are allowed to come, it's strictly swimmers only. The only exception is youngsters who wish to swim (min age is 12years and all under 16s must be accompanied by 1 x adult from the same household to drive them to the site and this will be allowed.
• We will not be running coached groups, we will simply be swimming laps of the lake and will give you some ideas for sessions / distances you can swim.
• We will take a little more time to get everyone into the water, so please be patient.

*The lake is 1250m for a single loop, giving 12.5m distancing per person and you have more than enough space to pass 10m to the left or right.

*There will be no wetsuit hire at the venue, you will need to provide your own wetsuit.
