British Emergency Services MTB Championships 2016

Organised by Cumbria Police on behalf of Police Sport UK, the British Emergency Services Mountain Bike Championships will take place on Sunday 2nd October 2016 in Whinlatter Mountain Forest on the outskirts of Keswick in the stunning county of Cumbria. Registration will open at 0800hrs and will be found in the Whinlatter Visitor’s Centre adjacent to Siskins Café.

Parking will be provided and included in the event fee but we do ask that you try to car share as much as possible.

Races

The race will start at 1100hrs outside the Cyclewise bike shop and will be chip timed. Whilst we reserve the right to alter the course due to forestry conditions and demand, early planning is favouring a lapping circuit of approximately 7km per lap covering forest road, forest track and including sections of the stunning red graded Altura North Loop.

Prices

Entry including parking and post-race buffet will be £23 online (plus a small fee to cover the cost of processing your card) and £25 on the day (subject to availability).

Please note that there will be no refunds, all excess monies will be donated to the Calvert Trust.

Event limits

The event has a field limit of 150 and is only open to serving or retired members of the emergency services.
