Nettleden Lodge, Nettleden, Hemel Hempstead HP1 3DB

The Nettleden Duathlon (6k run, 24k cycle, 6k run) is organised by a group of friends from Aldbury and starts in the grounds of Nettleden Lodge, near Berkhamsted. Full race day instructions can be obtained by clicking here.

And, just to reinforce the fact that this is an event that's a little out of the ordinary, the venue is Nettleden Lodge, a truly exceptional 17th Century Tudor house nestled in the picturesque and peaceful Golden Valley in Hertfordshire. Surrounded by 13 acres of glorious countryside, beautiful rural fields and forests as well as its own lake, Nettleden Lodge provides a stunning backdrop for the event.

Tea, coffee and cake is available in morning and there is a BBQ afterwards.

Kids are welcome to come along and support or even take part in a fun race with different year groups from 4-14 doing loops around the grounds of Nettleden Lodge, all safety away from public roads.

The event's purpose is to raise money for two charities: Cancer Research UK and Harrison's Fund. 100% of your entry fee goes to them, no costs are deducted. Both charities also have online donation pages that you can use to make further contributions, use the links below.

Entry fees

The adult race is £35. A booking fee of £1 per entrant will be added together with a small per-order charge (approximately 1.25%) to cover the cost of processing your debit or credit card.

The children's race is free to enter.
