10K entry has now closed........5K, 3K & 600m will remain open until 22nd

The uniquely popular Ellon Road Races are organised by The Middelton Trust/.

The 3K is a fun family event that promotes good health and sportsmanship. It is open to individuals of any size, shape, age and ability looking to run a fast and flat course for fun.

The 5K and 10K attracts runners from all over Scotland and continues to provide fierce competition for the 12 cash prizes on offer in each distance.

The 5K and 10K races are held under UK Athletics rules under Licence No 10745

Team prizes feature in both the 3K and 10K road races and the online entry system allows you to create new teams or join existing ones. (A team is an informal collection of individuals and is not the same as your UKA affiliated running club unless you wish to create a team from your running club and therefore must enter running club as team name also.

2019 is the 30th Anniversary of the 10K, to mark the occasion we have a NEW ROUTE

The new route is around the streets, along the old railway line and follows the edge of the river Ythan featuring some lovely views of Ellon. It has been described as a runners route and has great potential for some P.B. times!

At the end of the 10K all runners are invited back to the British Legion Hall (next door to the Victoria Hall) door open at 12.15am to enjoy some soup, sandwiches and cakes, followed by the 10K Prize Ceremony.
