After four fabulous years at Crug Glas, the 2020 Tour of Pembrokeshire will move back into St Davids. The new HQ will be at Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi and St Davids Leisure Centre. Headmaster David Haynes said “On behalf of the governors and staff of Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi we are both delighted and excited at the prospect of working in partnership with the Tour of Pembrokeshire Team to bring this unique, inclusive and prestigious event back into the heart of St Davids.”

The 2020 Tour of Pembrokeshire will take place on Saturday 16th May just after the Spring Classics. It is established as a must-do event for sportive riders and now attracts cyclists from all over the world.

This is what one rider said: 'Fourth year in a row, did the 52 this year, the 80 last year and longest ones previous two years, loved every single one of them. Best sportive with fabulous organisation, friendly marshals, delicious feed-station offerings and the Samba band to help motivate your tired legs near the end. If Carlsberg did sportives...!!! Thanks everyone and see you next year for number five' Stephanie Waring

The St Davids Peninsula is an outstanding location for the event offering breath-taking scenery, amazing sandy beaches and wonderful natural history. In addition to the fantastic cycling over routes to suit all abilities the event has a real festival atmosphere with something for everyone.

CONTINENTAL TYRES HILL CLIMB

The three longer routes which pass over the highest point in Pembrokeshire (Bwlch y Gwynt) will be challenged by a timed hill climb. There are great prizes for the fastest male and female riders of each route.

JUNIOR RIDERS

We welcome junior riders, indeed Josh Tarling was only eight when he first rode the Tour accompanied by Cyril Morris who was 80!  Any rider under the age of 17 must be entered and accompanied by an adult – that means the adult creates the profile, adds the child as a rider and then enters both into the event.  Adults who are accompanying young riders need to download and fill in this form and bring it to the event registration to collect their number and timing chip.
