Chicks and Chaps Chase Revived

The Chicks and Chaps Chase is being revived, bringing the local running community some great 5k and 10k routes.
A race 'just for the girls' followed after by a race 'just for the boys' provides a stress-free 5k and 10k run starting, and finishing within the picturesque setting of Willen Lake.
The event offers both a 5k and 10k run, the course is always a 5k loop and anyone doing the 10k will get a 5k split time as they start the second loop.
The last and final event in the series will be a 'chase' with the chaps, starting at a handicap, calculated based on time differences over the first events, trying to chase the chicks. Will the chicks hold off for the win or will the chaps race through to take victory?
There will be start waves every 5 minutes beginning at 10am. The women will take all the odd numbered waves (eg. Wave 1, Wave 3, Wave 5) and the men all the even numbered waves (eg. Wave 2, Wave 4 and Wave 6), until all athletes have started. We will be releasing you from the start funnel in your covid-bubbles or one at a time to avoid congestion at the start of the route.
All race packs will be posted out prior to event day. All runners will receive a fantastic bespoke wooden medal!
