The Epic Kidz Ullswater Duathlon, is a'participation based' fun event for children aged 6-13 years of age. Children will complete a short run (distance varies based on age group), followed by a cycle (distances again vary based on age). The cycle element is on racing bikes (provided, you don't need your own) and the bikes are on static turbo trainers, so even if the children are not confident in their riding ability, they can safely participate. There will then be a final run, to finish under the gantry and collect their medal. Our aim is to create a fun and exciting environment for all children to sample triathlon and multi-sport.
