Movember the First

It's the first of Movember and the Results Base crew were out in the muddy reaches of Swinley Forest near Bracknell timing the first of the massive series of MoRunning events scheduled for this month. The Muddy Mo always kicks things off with a choice of 10k or 10 miles round the taxing forest trails and the sun even shone for us!

Check out the rest of the MoRunning schedule here.

Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon massive success again for 2014

In only its second year the Plusnet Yorshire Marathon was again a huge success with over 6000 entrants and 26,000 splits. This event was the last event in the Jane Tomlinson running series and we have been proud to be involved with these rapidly growing events.

Love Luton Half Marathon

Results Base had one of their own team members race at the second running of this city centre event on Sunday and Lisa managed to smash through the 2-hour barrier with 1:55:24. Lisa was delighted with her run and said this massive improvement was down to the RB team runs that have recently been started.

Results Base at the Leicester Marathon 2014

Major success using our embedded chip-on-bib system produced in our Milton Keynes offices with 3800 runners and not one single timing enquiry.

The feedback on Facebook has been amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed working with the event organisers.

RB - 3 months on, 315 events and 114,058 finishers

Since the launch of Resultsbase on April 27th the team have been working flat out covering events across the UK and Europe. It has not been until this point any of us had a moment to take stock of what a relatively small team can achieve in such a short period. Based out of Milton Keynes but also having offices in Northern England and Scotland we have covered some fantastic events in many different disciplines. All of this work has provided some excellent data and with this weekend coming being officially 3 months its time for a recap. Since April 27th we are very proud to have provided results services to 315 events with a whopping 114,058 competitors crossing our finish lines!. Thanks to everyone who has helped, organisers who have supported us and of course all the competitors. The RB Team

At its new base in Grasmere the riders got to be the first to sample the slightly adjusted route, which still retained all the passes.
