Now in its 9th year, this very popular festive event is the perfect way to celebrate the Christmas holiday season. Come dressed in appropriate Christmas dress to make Santa really proud!
This two lap multi-terrain 5 mile race takes place in a unique setting and is a rare opportunity to run through the grounds of Ashburnham Place - a setting of great natural beauty with over 220 acres rich in wildlife. Part of the grounds have been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of valuable flora and fauna. The grounds in their present form were designed and constructed in the mid-eighteenth century by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown.
There are Christmas Puds and other Festive goodies on offer plus a medal and a glass of warming Mulled Wine will also be waiting for you at the finish.
Suitable for experienced runners and beginners alike.
The 2014 race will feature chip timing.
