Whether you are a keen club runner, doing your first half, or just running for fun, this is the road race for you. A flat and fast course with 1,750 places available. Now in its 34th year.
Entries for the 2016 race will open at 6am on Saturday 24th October 2015
You can register yourself on the Results Base site in advance of the 24th October. This will save you time when entries open. If you already have a registered profile on the Results Base site you can use it again this year. You should, however, check that all your details are up-to-date. The FAQ section provides guidance on how to manage your Results Base profile.

Race instructions, bib numbers and your disposable timing chip will be posted out in advance.
All finishers will receive a commemorative Brass Monkey technical T-shirt, select your size during the registration process.
Fees
UKA Affiliated club members: £22 plus a small transaction fee charged by debit/credit card
Non-affiliated runners: £24 plus a small transaction fee charged by debit/credit card

Location
The race is based at York Racecourse (Google map HERE) and we once again have use of the Ebor Stand for the provision of hot & cold drinks and light refreshments*, toilets, baggage storage and limited changing facilities. (*subject to a small charge).
Parking
Limited free parking is available. Please follow signs and directions.
Rules
The race is not suitable for wheelchairs.
MP3s, Ipods, wearing of headphones are not permitted (for safety reasons.)
For logistical reasons there is a 2h:45m cut off time for completing the course.

UKAthletics Road Race Licence has been applied for, the course is certified accurate by the Association of UK Course Measurers, and we have UK Athletics /BARR Gold Grade.
