Challenges!
 
The Aiguille du Midi is a 3,842-metre-tall mountain within the French Alps. You can ride the cable car up from Chamonix town and experience some epic views across the Mont Blanc massif.
 
The largest glacier in France which is 7km long and 200m deep. Featuring an ice cave, trails, a small museum & restaurant. You can catch a train from Chamonix to the top via the Montenvers Railway.
 
You’ve reached Switzerland! The trail has now crossed over into the swiss Alps. The Col de Balme is a high mountain pass, located on the border between Switzerland and France.
 
Église Rose, the most colourful church in the Swiss Alps! This quaint little town is home to less than 150 people.
 
The Émosson Dam is a hydroelectric dam that was built in the 1970s. This is Switzerland’s third highest dam, standing at 180m tall.
 
You’ve now reached the highest point on this route! You are now at 3096m above sea level. Mont Buet is the highest mountain peak in the Chamonix area, outside of the Massif du Mont Blanc.
 
Brevent stands at 2525m tall. You can access the summit via two cable cars from Chamonix town centre. This cliff is a popular spot for wingsuit flying down into the valley.
