The NSPCC Milton Keynes 'Summer' Half Marathon has built an excellent reputation for its high standards of organisation, facilities, marshalling and has become a key event in the Milton Keynes sporting calendar attracting both experienced and first time runners from across a wide area. The course is generally flat with good PB opportunities, chip timing, changing facilities, toilets, baggage drop and car parking, four water stations and medical support.
Not to be confused with any other half marathon in Milton Keynes, it is unique in that is the only event that is solely organised to benefit charity. All the money raised goes directly to the NSPCC and the event is organised by a group of NSPCC volunteers who work all year to put on this wonderful day.
Please help us to ensure that anyone who is considering entering next year is very clear about what our aim is – to protect and support children by raising the much needed funds to deliver our vital ChildLine Schools service. You can download our official sponsorship form HERE to assist in your fundraising efforts.
The course records for both male and female runners are held by Olympic athletes: Ser-od Bat-Ochid (Mongolia 2012) and Liz Yelling (GB 2008)
On the day entries may be limited and will be £30. There will be no on the day entry for team/relay events or children’s fun run
