The 12th Longleat 10km returns to the traditional first Sunday in February and to the original route - and by popular demand we have the return of the Lion Head medal.
If you're looking for beautiful scenery then look no further than the Longleat 10km; starting in front of the magnificent Longleat House the race takes in the estates private, and traffic free, roads, with only a short excursion of 400m on public highways as you pass the Bath Arms pub before the 1 mile downhill finish.
The route is undulating to hilly, with a significant climb tackled twice, once soon after the start and the second time towards the end. The effort of making the climb is rewarded with a long downhill along Lodge Drive towards Longleat House for the finish.
Start time: 9am
Prizes/Medals: medal to all finishers, goody bags. Prizes to first five male and female overall plus first male and female 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60+.
Facilities: free parking, refreshments available on site.
Please note that this year the park attractions will not be open and there will be no charge for spectators to enter the estate to watch the races.
