The Poole Swim @ Sandbanks

With a rectangular swim course that tracks the coast down the Sandbanks Peninsula and back, this really is sea swimming at its best. The Poole Swim @ Sandbanks includes swim distances of 750 metres, 1.5 kilometres, 3 kilometres and 4.5 kilometres, making it perfect for beginners and experienced sea swimmers alike.

Safety cut-off: due to safety reasons and the changing tides a final cut-off time of 180 minutes will be enforced from the designated start time
Wetsuits: the use of wetsuits is permitted. The water will be around 17°C (neoprene gloves, cap and booties may be used.)
Local Poole Lifeguards and qualified medical personnel will be on-site to ensure a safe swim, together with the experienced and highly professional Bspoke water safety and event crew.
Swimmers will receive an event swim cap and an exclusive Swim Series medal. Event-specific T-shirts are also available for purchase via the event entry page.
Race HQ is on the Blue Flag Sandbanks/Shore Rd beach, the best postcode to use for your sat nav is BH13 7PS A small Pay and Display car park is available next to the beach. The best place to park is along the Harbour road and then walk down Shore Road to the HQ on the beach. Parking charges start at 8am
