The 14 mile run (approximate!) goes through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the Northumberland coastal path from Beadnell Harbour to Alnmouth Estuary, keeping as close to the coast as possible.
The route starts on sand, then onto road, sand, trail, road and finishes on sand at Alnmouth.
The race is not suitable for wheelchairs.
No animals are allowed within the race.
Minimum age of entry 18.
Race start time is 10:30pm at Beadnell. Please note that only limited parking is available.
Buses must be booked at the time of entry, there is no facility to book afterwards.
£20 for UKA/British Athletics affiliated runners (your membership number will be checked during entry)
£23 for non-affiliated runners (select the non-UKA/British Athletics option at the membership check)
Please note that a registration fee of £1 per entry will be charged plus an additional amount per order to cover the card processing.
No refunds under any circumstances and no deferrals.
Transfers will close at midnight on Thursday 13th July - you must use the transfer process that is explained HERE.
After that time there will be strictly no changes and there are no number changes on the day. Anyone suspected of running with someone else's number will be disqualified from the results.
Please note that runners taking a number transfer cannot be guaranteed that they will get their preferred T-shirt size as these will have been ordered as soon as the event capacity is reached.
Bus to the start
£3 Bus fare from Hipsburn School (1 mile from Alnmouth)
First bus leaves at 07:30 am / last bus leaves at 08:45 am. Strictly no bus tickets on the day so please apply for transport when you enter.
Note that the bus only travels to the Beadnell start - there is no facility for transport back to the start at end of race!!
