The North Lakes New Year Half Marathon 2018

Information and registration

Sunday
7 January 2018

Welcome to the North Lakes New Year Half Marathon 2018, set in the base of the stunning Lorton valley. Although you will be surrounded by lakeland fells, the course itself is quite gentle by Cumbrian standards, on quiet rolling roads with no "major" hills.

Starting at 10.00 am on Sunday, January 7th, the inaugural event caters to runners of all abilities. If you want to go for an early season PB, complete your first half marathon or just burn off some of the winter festivities, then start your new year on the right foot.

Places are limited so make sure you sign up early. See you all in 2018!

Local Charity

**Before you sign up please take a minute to visit this charity page**

We would like to support Marie Curie, whose hospice in Newcastle Upon Tyne is looking after Annalee Paterson. During the sign up procedure and on the day you will be able to donate to this charity. Marie Curie are supporting Annalee, her husband Robert and their 5 young children through an incredibly difficult time. Both Annalee and Robert are members of local running club Derwent AC in Cockermouth and have run the roads where we are holding the event. We thank you in advance for any donations, you can click on this link or on the Marie Curie logo below to make a donation via Just Giving.
