The Alford Try-a-Tri is an event suitable for first-time triathletes and experienced racers. With a pool swim and relatively short cycle and run legs (400m, 14k, 3k) it is an ideal opportunity to ‘Try-a-Tri’. The solo event is, however, generally open only to those aged 15 and above in accordance with British Triathlon rules as the cycle leg is on open roads.

Please note parental consent must be given for participants aged 15 - 17 (they must be entered on an adult's profile in order for the correct waiver to be signed).

For the relay event the cyclist must be 15+ but younger competitors are allowed to enter the swim or run legs.

Entry fee

Solo entry: £35 for 18+, £27 for 15-17

Relay entry: £45 per team
