Event registration will take place in Lumphanan Village Hall from 9:30am to 11am. The race will start at 11.30am in the Recreation Park.

The 10km (almost circular) course begins with a long, steady incline - lasting about 2km. It is hard work getting to the top of this; but once you are at the top it is pretty well downhill or flat for the rest of the course. At about 6.5km the route veers off the tarmac road and onto a farm track. There is a small incline at this point but it doesn't last long. This 'off road' section lasts for about a kilometre. Conditions here may be a bit tricky.

No dogs allowed other than guide dogs.

  • 1st and 2nd male and female finishers in each category
  • 1st male and female local (Lumphanan 01339 883*** phone number) Telephone number must be entered at entry to be considered for this prize.
  • Course record prize available: male record is 31:12, female is 35:44

Water and snacks available at the finish line

Unique race T-shirt

Soup and hot or cold beverages will be served in the village hall for all entrants after the race.
