Willen Hospice Stretcher Race
Terms and Conditions

These conditions have been put in place to ensure all participants are safe at all times during the event and that they are fit and well enough to participate: 

1. The stretcher race is open to all abilities and I understand that I should work within my limits. 
2. I understand that I should be of reasonable health and fitness to undertake this challenge. If you have any doubts please get clearance from your doctor before participating. 
3. I am aware that Willen Hospice, their employees and volunteers cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, accident, loss, damage or public liability. I take part at my own risk. 
4. I understand that I must follow the given route and instructions on the day from officials, marshals and the event’s organisers. 
5. I understand that I must be 12 years+ to take part and if aged between 12 and 16 years I must be accompanied by an adult participant. One adult to each child of this age.
6. I understand that my registration fee is not refundable and that my place is not transferable without prior consent from Willen Hospice. 
7. I understand that I must not be under the influence of alcohol or illegal recreational drugs whilst taking part in the event. 
8. I understand that I need to take safety precautions, including, but not limited to; wearing appropriate clothing and footwear and bringing water to the event. 
9. I understand that I must be prepared for all weather conditions. 
10. I understand that on the day there will be third-party/volunteer professional photographers and film-makers capturing the event. The film and photographs of the event may be used in future Willen Hospice publications, online and in the media, and to help publicise future Willen Hospice events. The photographers may also publish on their own websites and social media platforms, from which Willen Hospice will share.
11. I understand that in the event where chip timing is involved that every participants full name and timing will be published on the Willen Hospice website and Resultsbase website (Supplier of Chip timing).
12. Disabled entrants are welcome to take part although due to the nature of the event we ask you to contact us prior to completing the form as some people with disabilities may not find the route suitable. If a disabled entrant requires assistance from another person, this person must also enter as an individual.
13. I understand that Willen Hospice reserves the right to cancel this event at any time if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. 

14. Chipped timing - We use Resultsbase to chip-time this event. Unless you tell us not to, your timing results will be published on the event results page on Resultsbase.net immediately after the event along with your name and the route you completed.
If you would prefer your results NOT to be published please advise the Willen Hospice events team ASAP on registration Vehicles.

The event is organised by Willen Hospice Ventures Ltd with the purpose of raising funds for Willen Hospice.
