Facilities
Toilets for both male/female are available. Parking is available onsite although there is plenty available in the surrounding streets. NO baggage lay down area will be available.

Registration
09:50 – 11:50 - Runners to register and go to the start line ready to run ASAP
RACE START - 10:00 to 12:00, Runners can start anytime between 10:00 & 12:00 in maximum groups of 6 with a minimum gap of 30secs.
Course
The route starts at the close to the Wheatsheaf Inn Wetheral and finishes close to Wetheral Community Hall. Best described as undulating, the course starts at an elevation of 193ft and as a maximum elevation of 233ft over the 2 lap 10mile course you will gain approx. 389ft. Athletes are requested to follow the race director’s instructions and be aware of the dangers of cars and cyclist. See HERE for map of route.
Risk Assessment
A full course risk assessment will be on display at the event HQ on race day together with maps of the route, the race permit and the measurement certificate in accordance with UKA rules (Permit No TBA).
Race safety briefing
The race briefing - No race briefing will take place on the day all instructions will be via email, website and race day hand out.
Prize presentation
No Prizes will be issued on the day, all prizes will be post after the event
1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female.
Age Groups – These prizes will be awarded as follows Male or Female age groups with less than 15 competitors 1st Place only, Male or Female age groups with 15 or more competitors 1st & 2nd place and Male or Female age groups with 25 or competitors 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes will be awarded.
Any age grouper that finishes in an overall prize position (1st, 2nd or 3rd Male or Female) will receive the overall prize. That age group prize will then roll down to the next person in that age category. The third place prize will not be less than the age group winner.
Results
The full race results will be available live on Timing up North and will be published as soon as possible on the Sport in Action home page.
Individual results will also be available via SMS if requested when entering.

Prices
UKA Members £16.00, Non UKA Members £18.00
An administration fee of £1 will be applied to each entry by our online entry system partner, Results Base.

Withdrawals Policy
Up until August 13th, 2020 all withdrawals will subject to a 50% charge to cover the costs of processing the entry and refund. After this date no refunds will be given.
