Date & Time
Sunday 11th July 2021, from 8:30am

What do I need to enter
There will be the option when entering the mile or the 3.8km races to swim without a wetsuit (Skin Swimmer). You must have previous event experience of swimming without a wetsuit which must be provided at the point of entry. Tow Floats will be compulsory for all Skin Swimmers. For all other competitors wetsuits are compulsory. Shortie type wetsuits are allowed if you are an experienced swimmer, but we recommend full length arms and legs due to the cold temperatures. If you are susceptible to the cold, we would also recommend neoprene hats, socks and gloves. The minimum age for competitors is 11/14/17 for 500m/1mile/3.8km on the day of the event.
How much to enter
The cost to enter the 500m/1mile/3.8k is £20/25/29. Entries will close either at 12 noon on the Friday prior to the event or when the event fills, whichever occurs first.
Included within your entry is
- Derwent Epic Lakes Swim Medal
- Swim Cap
- Chip timing
- Safety cover
- Event photographs free to download from our Facebook page
