EVENT INFORMATION

No-one could have anticipated the situation we have found ourselves in right now regarding COVID-19. We can make the most of the situation we find ourselves in. We can try new things, and we can certainly still bring you inclusive and fun events that remind you, you aren’t alone but part of the Maverick family.

Precision Hydration have come up with a short distance challenge. There are 3 parts/distances for this challenge:

Since Precision Hydration electrolytes come in strengths of; 500mg/l, 1000mg/l and 1500mg/l they are challenging you to run; 500m, 1000m and 1500m.

You can run all three distances back to back, totalling a fast run of 3km (you’ll still need to enter a time for each distance). Or you can challenge yourself to one of the distances as an 'effort' during a longer run, as long as you complete all three during the week.

Maverick Virtual runs are free, they are that healthy bit of competition we need to keep us and your little ones stimulated. Our Virtual runs can be done on your own terms, from your own home and under the government guidelines of ‘once a day’ outdoor exercise.

HOW IT WORKS

1. REGISTER

– Create an account (or use an existing one if you have done our other Virtual Challenges)

– Register for all three distances: 500m, 1000m, 1500m

2. RUN

– Inside or out!

– Track the run using an activity tracker (Strava, Suunto, Garmin)

– Stick to the government guidelines if going outside

– Remember, all three distances must be completed by 11:59pm on Friday 22nd May

3. UPLOAD

– Login to your account

– Select ‘My Area’ – ‘My Tickets’ and select the Ticket for this event

– Input your finish time for each distance

– Remember to upload a photo of your run!

4. SHARE

– Tag us in your photos @maverickrace

– Spot prizes are up for grabs!
