The Chichester Harbour Run Series has expanded to add a new unique trail run - The Wittering Beach run.

The run offers wonderful long-reaching views of the Selsey Bill and Isle of Wight on the outward leg and Chichester Harbour, the Solent, and the South Downs on the return.

With its natural, unspoilt beaches and coastal vistas, West Wittering has long been one of the most popular seaside destinations on the South Coast, boasting a Blue Flag status and excellent facilities that make this a truly stunning beach location.

The run will take advantage of the extensive sandy flats that are revealed at low tide; the flat compacted sand makes a wonderful surface to run on.

The three route options: 15K, 10K and 5K will cater for all abilities. The event is timed and will have water station(s) on route to keep you hydrated. As you cross the finishing line you will receive a high-quality medal, neck buff, sports socks and a drink. Refreshments will also be available.

Children are welcome to take part and have a significantly discounted price but must run with a paying adult.
