This race is a little gem! We give you a fabulous race with a difference in that you need to run with a partner!
Run over the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, deemed an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Every finisher receives the famous Beanie Hat, which is great for winter running. You will also receive a pasty/sausage roll.

An administration fee will be applied to each order by our online entry system partner, Results Base.
PLEASE NOTE: You must enter as a pair! The online entry process will require you to fill in the details of both people at the same time - you can either select them from people you have already stored in your 'profile' or you can add new runners. If you need to change your 'pair' later on because of injury, etc then please see the Team Management page for instructions on how to do this. Changes to runners are allowed up to 5pm on Thursday 7th October
Either or both of the pair can be UKA affiliated (or not!), it doesn't matter - just remember that we need you to fill in your affiliation number and have it validated during the entry process to get the discount. If you are a Welsh or Scottish Athletics member there's an option for this as well.
Virtual option
If you prefer to enter a virtual Gruesome then this costs £15.50 non-affiliated/£13.50 affiliated per runner and we'll post your Beanie out in the week commencing October 11th. There is no need to log your result.
Prizes
These will be awarded for male/female/mixed teams - your team category will be determined on the day of the event to allow for substitutions.
