Ullswater Triathlon is based at Park Foot Camping and Caravan site. You can choose either the Sprint or Standard distance race. The event starts with a 1500m or 750m swim in Ullswater, followed by an undulating 43.8k or 26.4k bike. You’ll then finish with a scenic run along the shores of Ullswater, completing either 10k or 5k to reach the finish. The event is ideal for both novice and experienced participants and we encourage you to take advantage of the camping facilities at Park Foot and stay for the weekend!

What do I need to enter the event

• A roadworthy bike (mountain bikes and hybrids are acceptable) and recognised cycle helmet
• You must be medically sound and if you have any history of illness or injury, consult your GP beforehand
• You must be 17 years of age before the end of the event year to enter the Standard Distance or 15 years for the Sprint Distance

How much to enter

The cost to enter Ullswater Triathlon is £49 for the Sprint and £59 for the Standard distance. You are required to be a member of British Triathlon/Triathlon England for insurance purposes. If you are not already a member, you will be charged an additional £5 at the time of entry for your race day license. Entries will close either at 12 noon on the Thursday prior to the event or when the event fills, whichever occurs first.
