Do you have what it takes to be a GEORDIEMAN??

The GEORDIEMAN is one of the most eagerly anticipated multi-sport events in the North East for many years! A full and half distance triathlon endurance event at the most perfect venue in the whole of the North East. Swim in the Ladyburn Lake, cycle up and down the fabulous and mainly flat Northumberland Coast and finish with a flat run around the delightful Druridge Bay Country Park on paths, tarmac and trails.

Full distance event - 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle, marathon run

Half distance event - 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile cycle, half marathon run

Due to the nature of the event and the extensive planning and preparation involved we will only be releasing 200 places for each event initially. The first 50 in each event will become FOUNDER GEORDIEMAN MEMBERS who will have a “price for life” as well as guaranteed entry each year.

Both events can also be done in a relay of 3 with friends or family. Relay team members won't be eligible for Founder Member Status.

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male and Female as well as category winners prizes.

There will also be special prizes for the first GEORDIELASS and GEORDIELAD which will be for anyone living in the North-East of England at the time of the event.

All competitors will get a medal, an event long sleeved training top, unlimited drinks and snacks during the event as well as food after the event in the event village. There will also be free photography at the event.
