We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Northumberland Duathlon has been selected to host a British Triathlon Age Group Standard Distance Duathlon Qualifier for the 2026 World Standard Distance Duathlon Championships.
The scenic Druridge Bay Country Park is the venue for the Northumberland Duathlon. This Country Park is situated along the stunning Northumbrian coast, providing an ideal backdrop for the Northumberland Duathlon, thereby making it an excellent choice for newcomers to the sport and experienced athletes aiming for a personal best.
The Northumberland Duathlon attracts a wide range of competitors from all abilities. The distances and course are well suited to beginners and equally attractive to seasoned competitors and those Competitors wishing to move up from short sprint to the long standard distance. An ideal event to kick start your season!
The Duathlon run route follows the footpath that winds its way through the woods and meadows that surround the lake. The bike route will take you out of the Country Park along the flat coastal route.
British Triathlon have once again selected Northumberland Duathlon to be on the Major Events calendar and in 2025 the event will serve as a GB Age Group Team Qualifier for the 2026 World Championship Standard Distance Duathlon - Click here for further information on how to Register Intent to Qualify.

STANDARD DISTANCE DUATHLON Run 10.5km / Bike 38km / Run 5km
A booking fee of 5% will be applied to each order by our online entry partner, Results Base.
Please note, all non-BTF athletes will need to purchase a Race Pass from BTF HERE.
The minimum age for the Sprint Distance Duathlon is 15 years old on 31st December 2025, and for the Standard Distance Duathlon is 17 years old on 31st December 2025.
