The Montane Trail Ultra, 20 & 10 Ullswater Way starts and finishes at Jenkins Field in Glenridding. The Ultra Distance follows the stunning Ullswater Way route and includes both the Lowther Loop and the Dalemain Loop to make the course 33.5 miles. The Trail 20 route follows the same stunning Ullswater Way on a complete 21.5 mile lap of Ullswater but does not include the additional Lowther/Dalemain loops. The Trail 10 starts from Pooley Bridge and runs the final 10 miles of the route back to Glenridding.

How much to enter
The cost to enter the 33.5 mile Ultra distance is £74, the 21.5 miles distance is £44 and the 10 miles distance is £35.
The start location for the Ultra and Trail 20 distance is at Jenkins Field in Glenridding (Race HQ). The start location for the Trail 10 is in Pooley Bridge. Trail 10 runners will still need to Register at Race HQ then make their way to the start line in Pooley Bridge. There will be an event coach that will transport Trail 10 runners to the start but this is an optional extra at £10 and must be booked in advance. Trail 10 Runners can make their own way from Registration at Glenridding to the Start at Pooley Bridge if they wish or reserve a seat on the event coach at the point of entry. Trail 10 Runners - please ensure you have transport to the start either on the pre-booked event coach or by using your own transport.
You will need to carry all of the specific items on the compulsory kit list and you must also be 16 years of age on the day of the race (n.b. min age for the Ultra distance is 18 years on the day). Entries close either when the event is full or midday on the Thursday prior to race day.

Is there a time limit/cut off
We have a time limit/cut off for the Ultra Distance both for the safety of our runners and our team of volunteer marshals. Ultra runners must reach the Pooley Bridge Feed Station at 18.5 miles by 2:30pm (6.5 hrs) then reach Aira Force Feed Station at 30.5 miles by 6:30pm (10.5 hrs) and finally reach the Finish at Glenridding by 7:30pm (11.5 hrs).
