Welcome to the 34thrunning of the TRIATHLON RELAYS at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham. The National Water Sports Centre is situated two miles south of the city of Nottingham. Racing takes place on a completely closed road course which is near perfect for both competitors and spectators alike.
British Triathlon Federation Event of the Year 2007 & Triathlon England Event of the Year 2015
Originally started in 1991, this weekend has become legendary in as much as although others have tried to replicate it, the Triathlon Relays is still very unique. In 2022 over 2000 athletes and over 100 different clubs joined in the fun that we call 'organised chaos'.

The Triathlon Relays
Each member of the team individually swims 500 metres before tagging their team mate, and so on, and so on, until all four people have completed the swim. Moving onto the 15km bike, each athlete individually completes the 15km bike, until the last team member then tags the first team member to start the 5km run section.
For the 2025 HUUB National Triathlon Relays the following Championships will be decided;
- Triathlon England -- Community Club Championship
- Triathlon England -- Member's Championship
- Open Event -- Open Championship
In the morning session, Female and Open categories will be racing for Triathlon England awards in various age groups - junior, senior, vet 40 and vet 50.
In the afternoon session, Mixed (2 Female plus 2 Open) teams will race for more Triathlon England awards.
Open Teams competing for the Open Championships can race in either the morning or the afternoon session.
Please note that:
- a junior team must all be under 20 and not less than 15 (born between 2006 and 2010)
- a senior team must all be born in 2005 or earlier
- a Vet 40 team must all be over 40 (born 1985 or earlier)
- a Vet 50 team must all be over 50 (born 1975 or earlier)
- a mixed team must have a 2:2 ratio of female category to open category
