The Intellicore Red Run 2017

Friends of ANCHOR – Helping to make North East Scotlands cancer and haematology care the best it can be. ANCHOR stands for Aberdeen and North Centre for Haematology, Oncology and Radiotherapy. The ANCHOR Unit covers the dedicated wards and clinics within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for oncology and haematology patients.
The Red Run supporting Friends of ANCHOR is a new event taking place for the first time on the 18th June 2017. It will consist of a 10k run, a 5k run and a 5k walk. All routes are relatively flat and suitable for all runners. All routes begin at Fetternear Hall and the runs take place mostly on open public roads. For this reason we strongly advise against the use of headphones. All routes will be heavily marshalled and well signposted and we ask that you take great care and adhere to all marshals guidance.
All adult entrants will receive a Red Race/Walk T-shirt and we ask that you wear it on the day to show your support for Friends of ANCHOR. Please note that there will be no kids T-shirts.
All 5k and 10k run finishers will get a custom Red Run medal.
Prices
10k run - £18
5k run - £14
All entrants must be 16 or over on the day of the race.
5k walk - £12 for 16yrs and over, £6 for 5-15yrs
Entries will close on 5th June and no entries will be taken on the day.
A booking fee of 75p per adult entrant (over 16) will be added together with a small per-order charge (approximately 1.25%) to cover the cost of processing your debit or credit card.

Water Station
There will be one water station just before the 5k mark on the 10k race.

Parking
There will be parking at Netherton Business Centre and in adjacent fields to the event if needed, this will be fully marshalled and please park where the marshals ask you to. You will only be able to enter the road for parking from the Kemnay side as we will be operating a 1 way system for the safety of the runners.
