The HERTS 10K is Rennie Grove Hospice Care's flagship fundraising event with thousands of runners coming back year after year in support of the local charity.
Although the event is one of the largest 10K runs in Hertfordshire, it is still very much a community event. The atmosphere on the day is fantastic with many more people coming along to support family and friends.
This is a beautiful multi-terrain course which is both signed and marshalled, with km markers along the route. There is a water point on the route and at the finish you will receive water and a snack along with your finishers medal.
Participants must pass the road closure point (approx. halfway) within 90 minutes of the start time to allow for road reopening. If you are behind this time you will be warned of the road reopening and asked to continue at the side of the road at your own risk.

Trophies will be presented on race day to the first three men and women to cross the finish line.
