The HERTS 10K is Rennie Grove Hospice Care's flagship fundraising event with thousands of runners coming back year after year in support of the local charity.
Although the event is one of the largest 10K runs in Hertfordshire, it is still very much a community event. The atmosphere on the day is fantastic with many more people coming along to support family and friends.
This is a beautiful multi-terrain course which is both signed and marshalled, with km markers along the route. There is a water point on the route and at the finish you will receive water and a snack along with your finishers medal.
Participants must pass the road closure point (approx. halfway) within 90 minutes of the start time to allow for road reopening. If you are behind this time you will be warned of the road reopening and asked to continue at the side of the road at your own risk.
Trophies will be presented on race day to the first three men and women to cross the finish line.
The Junior Division is for runners aged 12 to 16 years (participants must be at the required age on the day of the event). The 1st, 2nd and 3rd junior runners will be announced in the race village after results have been verified.
Earlybird entry will start at £16 for the first 200 entries or until we reach January 31st.
The second entry phase will be priced at £18 and covers the next 300 entries or until we reach February 28th.
All subsequent entries will be at £22.
Your entry fee includes your race entry, a technical T-shirt, your finisher's medal, chip timing and water en-route.
An administration fee of 6% will be applied to each order by our online entry system partner, Results Base.
To receive a text with your results please tick the box during the registration process. Texts cost £1 with a percentage of this cost being donated to Rennie Grove.
Your race pack will be sent out in the post in September.
Note: entries placed after 10am on October 2nd will need to come to registration within the event village to collect their race pack.
