The Ridgeway Run is a challenging trail run of approximately 15.5 kilometres (9.6 miles) over a scenic route, mainly on footpaths and bridleways with stunning Chiltern views.
Established in 1982, the run starts on the outskirts of Tring and the course gradually ascends into the Ashridge Estate, past the Bridgewater Monument, takes in a stretch of the famous Ridgeway path and Pitstone Hill before descending back along quiet paths into Tring and finishing at the Cricket Club.
LATE ENTRY: we will be leaving the online entry open (up to a limit of 650) until 09:00am on SUNDAY morning. There will be NO paper entry option at the venue, all entries must be done online. Your online receipt will include notification of your bib number so you can collect this from registration (please bring a copy of the receipt/have it on your phone).
TRANSFERS: you will be able to transfer your entry to another participant until Saturday 12 October 2024 at 12:00pm (noon) - any transfers not completed at this point will remain in the original entrant's name.
What to expect on the day:
- Finisher’s t-shirt OR select Trees not Tees to have a tree planted*
- Place, veteran and team prizes
- Fully marshalled course with water stations at 3 & 6 miles
- Changing facilities (female and male showers) and plenty of loos
- Team prizes, Male: 3 to qualify; Female: 3 to qualify
- Refreshments available at the Cricket Club pavilion
