Whether you are a keen club runner, doing your first half, or just running for fun, this is the road race for you. A flat and fast course now in its 37th year.

Race instructions and bib numbers will be posted out in advance to the athlete address you provide during registration. If you need to update this information after entry please see these instructions.
All finishers will receive a commemorative Brass Monkey technical T-shirt, select your size during the registration process. Please ensure you check the size guide as this will be indicated on your bib number.
York Knavesmire Harriers are celebrating their 40th birthday during 2019 and as such additional post race mementos will be provided to all runners – we hope you will help us celebrate with some post-race cake! *1 slice per runner.
Transfers
Transfers will be allowed (see this page for details on how to do a transfer) up to 23:59 on December 21st 2018. After this time no further transfers will be allowed unless sanctioned directly by the organisers.
Fees
UKA Affiliated club members: £23 *
Non-affiliated runners: £25
Please note that all runners must be 18 or older on the day of the race.
An administration fee of 6% will be applied to each order by our online entry system partner, Results Base.
* Please note that your British Athletics/UKA membership will be checked during the registration process and if valid the appropriate discount will be applied. Scottish Athletics and Welsh Athletics members can also obtain the discount by entering their membership number into the appropriate field in the approved format.
There will be no registrations on the day.

Location
The race is based at York Racecourse (Google map HERE) and we once again have use of the Ebor Stand for the provision of hot & cold drinks and light refreshments*, toilets, baggage storage and limited changing facilities. (*subject to a small charge).
Parking
Limited free parking is available at the racecourse. Please follow signs and directions. If you are parking outside the venue, please park responsibly.
Weather
The weather in January can be unpredictable. York Knavesmire Harriers take safety very seriously and are out with our gritters in the week leading upto the event and on event day itself. If the hard decision is made to cancel the event we will post this on our website and our Facebook pages. Unfortunately we are not in the position to offer refunds or transfers. All race mementos will be available for all runners to collect.
Rules
The race is not suitable for wheelchairs.
MP3s, iPods, wearing of headphones are not permitted (for safety reasons.)
For logistical reasons there is a 2h:45m cut off time for completing the course.
